ACCESS is a personal screen-time tool for iPhone. You choose apps to limit and use them normally; after your chosen minutes of use, iOS locks them for a period you agreed to in advance, then unlocks them automatically. It is a self-management tool for your own device — it is not parental-control software and is not intended to manage anyone else's device.
By using ACCESS you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs all apps distributed through the App Store. Where the two differ, Apple's EULA controls for App Store matters.
ACCESS Basic is free. ACCESS Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through your Apple Account. New subscribers may receive a free trial; the trial runs once per Apple Account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's Settings under your Apple Account, or in the App Store app. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
ACCESS uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks to enforce the limits you set. These frameworks are controlled by iOS, and their behavior can be affected by iOS updates, device settings, Screen Time permission changes, or restoring from a backup. Usage counting is performed by iOS and may run a short time behind real use. ACCESS is designed to be reliable, but it is a tool to support your own intentions, not a guarantee: you can always remove its permission or delete the app, and no software can force a behavior change. ACCESS is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service.
You agree to use ACCESS only to manage your own device, and not to attempt to use it to control another adult's device. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, except where applicable law permits.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ACCESS, including missed notifications, locked apps during the lock periods you configured, or any effect of the Screen Time frameworks. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use ACCESS after a change means you accept the updated terms.
