ACCESS is a screen-time tool for the iPhone where it is installed, for personal use or locally configured parent-set boundaries. Quiet hours restrict selected apps at scheduled times. Regular Lock counts actual use across selected apps and applies a Lock when their combined allowance is reached. Daily limit sets one combined daily allowance, which resets at 4 AM. You can use these features separately or together; ending one restriction does not override another. Remote monitoring and remote unlock are not included.
An optional six-digit ACCESS passcode protects settings and early-release actions. Without a passcode, ordinary settings remain editable; an early release requires creating a passcode first. A voluntary Lock now can start without a passcode when no restriction is already active. Unlock now requires the passcode and, when enabled, grants a fixed 15 minutes before rules resume; a running Lock pauses with its remaining time. End Lock early is separate and does not remove Quiet hours or a reached Daily limit. Scheduled endings remain automatic. Keep your passcode and backup code private: there is no account-based or remote recovery service.
By using ACCESS you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs all apps distributed through the App Store. Where the two differ, Apple's EULA controls for App Store matters.
Basic is free and covers one selected app with the core rule controls. Individual Pro covers up to 50 individually selected apps and adds extended event history and widgets. Pro Family provides the same Pro features to the purchaser and up to five additional members of the same Apple Family Sharing group. Apple determines group and subscription-sharing eligibility. Individual Pro is not shareable. Family Sharing shares subscription access only; it does not share or remotely control anyone's app settings, passcode or usage.
Subscriptions are offered monthly or yearly through the App Store. Apple's purchase screen displays the applicable local price and renewal terms. A three-day introductory trial is offered only when Apple confirms eligibility for the selected product. Introductory-offer eligibility is shared across the ACCESS Pro subscription group; choosing another duration or switching between Individual and Family does not create a new introductory eligibility period. After an eligible trial, the selected subscription renews at the displayed price unless cancelled under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel through Apple's subscription settings; refunds are handled by Apple.
To share an eligible Pro Family subscription, enable Share with Family for ACCESS in Apple's Family subscription settings. Each member installs ACCESS and authorizes Screen Time locally. Purchase Sharing is a separate setting and is not required for subscription sharing. Shared access can end if the subscription ends, the purchaser stops sharing or the member leaves the group. Loss of Pro changes future app coverage to Basic; it does not promise immediate release of an already active restriction or deletion of saved choices.
ACCESS depends on Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Counting, scheduled callbacks and enforcement can be affected by iOS behavior, updates, device settings, permission changes and restoration. Counters may update after a delay. The local ACCESS passcode protects the app's controls, not the entire iPhone: it cannot prevent app deletion or revocation of individual Screen Time permission. ACCESS is not tamper-proof device management and does not guarantee continuous availability, exact callback delivery or behavior change. Check Protection Health and do not treat ACCESS as an emergency or safety-critical system. ACCESS is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service.
Use ACCESS only on a device you own or are authorized to configure, including appropriate parent or guardian configuration. Do not secretly use it to control another adult's device. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, except where applicable law permits.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ACCESS, including missed notifications, locked apps during the lock periods you configured, or any effect of the Screen Time frameworks. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use ACCESS after a change means you accept the updated terms.
