The core cycle is simple: minutes of use, a Lock, then a fresh start. The default is 15 minutes of use followed by a 30-minute Lock.
Choose what ACCESS covers and how many minutes of use you want before a Lock starts.
Only time spent in your selected apps uses your minutes. Your phone sitting on the desk does not.
When your minutes are spent, your selected apps lock. ACCESS shows when the Lock ends and unlocks them automatically.
With Pro, your selected apps share the same minutes of use and lock together. Switching from TikTok to YouTube still uses the same allowance.
Once counting starts, your minutes, Lock length and app picks are locked in. The rule stays in place through the Lock.
Strict mode is on by default. With Strict on, ACCESS has no early exit from an active Lock.
The Lock ends automatically at the time ACCESS shows. A configured Quiet hours schedule or Daily limit can keep apps restricted separately.
Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Apple shows your local price, renewal terms and any eligible trial before you confirm a subscription.
The ACCESS app uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks and stores your setup and usage on your iPhone. There is no ACCESS account, analytics or server. Family Pro shares subscription access; each person's app selections, rules and usage stay their own.
With Strict mode on, an active Lock has no early exit in ACCESS. With Strict off, Settings offers End this Lock early, which ends the Lock with fresh minutes, or Emergency unlock for 5 minutes, which pauses the Lock and then resumes its remaining time.
You can revoke Screen Time permission or delete ACCESS. The app supports rules you choose for yourself.
Family Pro shares access with up to five other members of your Apple Family Sharing group. The purchaser enables Share with Family for the subscription. Each person grants Screen Time permission and chooses their own apps and rules.
